Village Inn Restaurant

The Village Inn Country Pub and Restaurant is a privately owned freehouse overlooking the village green. The Village Inn has been open some 15 years. The original Village Inn was destroyed in a fire in 1989, when the pub was moved to its current location.
There is a large car park at the rear of the Inn with some parking on the village green.
The pub has recently changed hands and is now run by Phil and Dee who arrived in the village in early 2008.

The Village Inn has the usual selection of wines and spirits plus up to 5 Real Ales on tap at any time. Dartmoor Ale is the house beer and the others are guest beers mainly from the local area but also from throughout the country.

The Village Inn has a thriving restaurant serving both pub grub and restaurant standard meals. Food is served every day from 12noon - 2.00pm and 6.00pm - 9.00pm. For bookings telephone: 01409 211200.

The Village Inn is now serving take away Fish & Chips on Wednesday evenings 6.00 - 7.00 pm. Advance ordering essential.

Phil, Dee and the staff will always make you welcome as you relax in the comfortable lounge area or dine in the seperate restaurant area. They look forward to providing you with a most enjoyable visit with good food, wine and beer in a great country atmosphere.
