The Village Inn
The Village Inn has only been open some 10 years. The village had another pub before the Village Inn but it was burned down in 1989.
The pub has recently changed hands and is now run by Phil and Dee who arrived in the village in early 2008.
The pub has the usual selection of wines and spirits plus up to 5 Real Ales on tap at any time. Exmoor Ale is the house beer and the others are guest beers mainly from the local area but also from throughout the country.
The Village Inn has a thriving restaurant serving both pub grub and restaurant standard meals. Food is served every day from 12noon - 2.00pm & 6.00pm - 9.30pm. For bookings telephone: 01409 211200.
