Ashwater Parish Survey
Introduction
The Ashwater Parish Survey 2003 has now been completed with the publication of this report. The parish survey follows on from the last Parish Community Appraisal carried out in 1997. The 2003 Survey has encompassed a higher number of dwellings than the 1997 Survey with some 250 appraisals being sent out as opposed to 175 in 1997. In this latest appraisal there has been just over an 80% response.
This report shows to the nearest half per cent (for the purposes of clarity) the replies to each and every question posed in the 2003 survey.
Several questions in the survey invited respondents to make additional comments and all of these comments have been shown as an addendum to this report.
The object of the Ashwater Parish Survey is to enable members of the Parish Council to represent the views of the majority of persons living in the parish in an effective and efficient manner.
The Parish Council would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the Parish Surveys and those who contributed in any way to the distribution and collection of the appraisals.
