Minutes of the Ashwater Parish Hall Committee Meeting Held on Wednesday 6th December 2006

Present: T Pugh, B Jenkins, L Langston, I Buxton, E Gliddon, Mrs M Gliddon, P Capron, , Miss A Gill, Mrs A Shadrick, J Forward, Mrs H Thomas, M Timney, Mr and Mrs Spratt, J A March

Minutes of Previous Meeting

The minutes of the previous meeting were accepted as a true record, proposed by P Capron, seconded by Mrs Gliddon

Matters Arising

Big Lottery Fund.

Nothing further to report

S106 Agreement

We are still waiting for the revised and correct version of the final document. It was proposed by P Capron and seconded by G Spratt that the authorised officers should sign the document between meetings should it arrive.

Fund Raising

I Buxtan reiterated that he would chair a Fundraising Subcommittee. He had received the results of the last parish survey and was preparing a list of those who have volunteered to help from that survey.

Legal

Voluntary registration of the title deed is still in hand

Web Site

It was agreed that P Capron should put together a piece about the progress of the lottery bid for the web site

Old Hall

An estimate for the replacement of the old kitchen sinks had been received from Joss Caroll in the sum of £335.00 plus VAT. It was agreed that the work should be put in hand. Proposed by L Langston and seconded by E Gliddon. The clerk would write to the Parish Council and ask for a donation towards the work.
P Capron and E Gliddon had removed the old cooker and other rubbish.

Treasurers’ reports

Old Hall	Current £220.21	Reserve £689.87
New Hall	Current £2691.04	Reserve £1094.09

There was £175.00 to bank

Date of next meeting: It was agreed that there would not be a meeting in January
