| Ashwater Playgroup held a charity market stall at Holsworthy market, selling cakes and bric-a-brac. The committee would like to thank everyone who supported their market stall at Holsworthy market. We had a great day in the sunshine, and managed to raise £183. So thanks again to everyone who baked/bought a cake or donated bric-a-brac. | |
| 13th June 2003 | Ashwater Playgroup Charity Auction |
| Ashwater Playgroup held an auction of lots and promises to raise funds, in the Village Hall. The flyer and Auction Programme are available. A huge thank you to everyone who supported our event; either by attending the auction or donating items, offering promises or making cash donations. Particular thanks must go to our wonderful auctioneer, John Bone, who really made the event such a success. In total we believe we made around £1900.00, although cheques are still coming in. At our current rate of loss this should keep us going for at least a year, which is wonderful news. Thanks again, we are all astounded by the village's generosity. |
