Fund Raising for the Parish Hall

Some say voluntary fund raising is an art and others think it might be a science. Perhaps it’s a bit of both, either way the truth is that it is hard work and without dedication is unlikely to succeed. Well our fund raising team have achieved their aim to build a new hall and in so doing secured the best part of £500,000 in funding.

Those working on the team, and there have been many over the past decade or more, have all contributed and deserve recognition and thanks, but in reality such stalwarts did not do it for either - they felt a need to help gain an objective, which would be of benefit to others as well as themselves and at the same time make a difference.

In addition to the fund raisers there are those who grant the funds and they too deserve an accolade. Whatever the source it is nice for them to be recognised and we are grateful to the following for their contribution:
