January 10thWinter walk on Dartmoor and lunch at Badger's Holt
February 4th7.30pm St Giles Village Hall a talk by Sue Fisher on'Making the most of small gardens'.
Admission: £3 to include a draw and refreshments
March --Gill Casey gives a talk on flower arranging tips for Agricultural Show in August. Date to be aadvised.
May 9thOuting to Trevano Gardens
June 8thA visit to Steve Mitchell at Tetcott who will give us tips and hints on exhibiting vegetables for the forthcoming show. At 7.00 pm. For more infomation call either Wendy 211449 or Fiona 221403. The plan is that we meet on our village green and then car share.
August 15thAnnual Horticultural Show in conjunction with the Ashwater Show
September 5th Saturday at 5.00pm AGM. This will be held on Summerleaze beach (weather permitting). The meeting should be relatively short and will be followed by a picnic and cricket or rounders. It would be lovely if everybody could bring a plate of picnic food and then we can all share.
October 10th Saturday 2.00 pm - ‘Apples From Tree to Juice at West Chilla’. (Lifts from Ashwater, outside the Village Inn - Please contact Fiona Bull on 01409 221403 or meet at Moorhay Farm at 1.40pm.
November 9th Monday 7.00pm - Talk given by George Kessle on English Gardens through the Ages.
December 7thChristmas Wreath Making - 7.00pm Village Hall.Please book (01409 221403), as this session is restricted to the first 20.
