Ashwater Horticultural Society Minutes

The meeting was held in the Village Hall. Present were

Chairman	Bob Edwards
Secretary	Peter Capron
Treasurer	Jackie Whiteley

Plus 18 other members.

The major part of the meeting was taken up by a presentation on the Climbers and Wall Shrubs by George Kestell. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr Kestell for his time and presentation. This was a free evening for all.

The secretary reported that he was still trying to arrange a visit to Trebah gardens and would expect to have details finalised by the next meeting. He also said that 10 members visited the Rising Sun Nursery and were given a demonstration on Hanging Baskets.

Following that the secretary announced that the next meeting would be held on 11 April 2003 which would be an ordinary meeting to discuss the society, visits and the show.

A raffle was also held.

Thanks were expressed to Jan Capron for providing the teas.
