Ashwater Skittles Clubs

Ashwater has a long tradition of skittles playing - the current boards are over 50 years old and they replaced the previous set that is still sometimes used at the Agricultural Show every August.

The Parish has four teams, two each for the Ladies and Men. The Men play in the Holsworthy and District League, but the Ladies now play once a month in the Parish Hall rather than in the league.

We are friendly, even when playing our local rivals, with home games for the Men on a Tuesday. The Ladies play on the 1st Thursday in the month - both commencing at 7.30pm in the parish hall.

The season usually runs from September to March and we often have an end of season 'get together' somewhere reasonably local.

Why not join us as new players are always welcome and you do not have to commit to playing every week as we often ring the changes to give everyone a game.
