Ashwater Parish Hall
Annual General Meeting – 22nd May, 7.30pm
The Parish Hall Committee is comprised of members of the community and previously has included representation by various groups of hall users and organisations in the Parish.
If you have anyone interested in joining the committee from your group or would like to nominate a representative there is an opportunity to become involved at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting that commences at 7.30pm on 22nd May 2019 in the hall.
There are vacancies for trustees and it will be necessary to appoint a new Chair and Secretary this year. The hall has been open now for almost 10 years, is a valuable asset, an integral part of the community and does need people to help run it.
As a charity the hall operates solely for the benefit of the parish and one method of keeping running costs down and therefore hire charges at a minimum is for community members to take part in its administration.
The main committee of trustees meet about once a quarter, so it does not require a great deal of commitment of time and if anyone is interested in helping it would be appreciated.
